• Psychological assessment is available for clients ranging from pre-school aged-children to HS students. Assessment is tailored to each client's needs and a battery of carefully selected tests will be administered.  Assessment may include  cognitive (WISC-V, WPSSI, WAIS), behavioral, social, academic (WIAT-III) or diagnostic areas. Testing is available in both English and Japanese. 
• A typical assessment consists of a combination of interviews with the individual client,  interview with parents/ teachers/workplace staff/ counselors, administration of indivual tests, quetsionnaires and school/home observation.  A feedback session and assessment report with recommendations are also included in the package. If the child is bilingual and assessment/report is required in English and Japanese, this is also available with additional fees. Follow-up sessions with the psychologist is available and if necessary, a psychiatrist session cwill be arranged.

[Fees]
The base fee is JPY12,650* per hour. The total fee is dependant on the number of hours used in the assessment process and will vary for each individual case. Typically, an assessment will fall under the categories of Cognitive Assessment, Academic Assessment or Diagnositc Assessment. The estimated range for a full evaluation is usually betweenJPY316,250 ~ 417,450*(Approximately 25 and 33 hours). Variations of these categories can be made to accomodate the needs of each client. Assessment services are currently not covered by Japanese National Health Insurance. However, we are able to provide a documentation in English/ Japanese for fees paid, which may be used to claim reimbursements from your own private insurance companies/schemes. If you have international private insurance plans, please check with your insurance provider regarding possible benefits for mental health services.
